Though Life in a Blender Family Medicine is based out of Horry County and the Greater Myrtle Beach area, people from all over the country visit our office just to experience Dr. Papotto’s unique and empathetic take on what it means to be a physician. Family Medicine focuses on treating people at every stage of life and we take that to another level.

Dr. Papotto is a man of many talents, but knows that his team is the key to maintaining a successful practice. Every member of our staff are licensed, experienced professionals, from Nurse Practitioners to Medical Assistants. Not a single one is still in training and you’ll only see team members who are fully qualified and trained to help you. Every employee is a valued member of the practice and never “lesser” than others. Combined, our staff has over 150 years of experience!

It’s normal to experience a lot of anxiety and angst while at a doctor’s office. Along with pain from injury or illness, people also worry about additional pain from being examined and having procedures done to them. Dr. Papotto’s experience with bringing joy and empathy to his patients even includes pain-free ways of performing certain procedures, such as painless Botox or other injections. His training gave him the gift of administering these treatments pain-free and he’s ready to share that with more patients.

Besides standard practice, we also look into alternative, holistic, and evidence-based practices to tackle a problem from another angle. If one door closes, open another one!

We love humor and jokes, but we’re no strangers to delivering tough news with total empathy and dedication to your feelings. It’s a rough part of the job, but a necessary one. Dr. Papotto has always believed that all he does is through God and for God. He believes that he is meant to deliver care through who he considers to be the first medical missionary: Jesus Christ. Christ’s healing and selflessness is what Dr. Papotto models his practice after and you can expect that to be upheld.
